Finally, my entry for waywardmixes' Round #23, Character Study! It took me really long this time to get the mix going - to start with, I had some trouble defining what exactly was a character study. By reading some fics, I've concluded it is an exploration of the many facets of a character and some elaboration on why they do the things they do - and I tried to choose songs accordingly. I've been wanting to make a Shingeki no Kyojin/Attack on Titan mix for a long while, and I've been enamored with Levi the moment he skewered that Titan and saved the Golden Trio. The mix wound up more intense than I would've imagined when I started, but this is just Levi to me - I think that, beneath the jaded look, his feelings run deep.

If you've only watched the anime, beware for MANGA SPOILERS. If you're a Shingeki no Kyojin fan, I recommend you read the latest chapter before checking the mix.

A fanmix for waywardmixes' round #22, Female Relationships. I was first going to make a mix about Tatsuki and Orihime from Bleach, but then Frozen was released here in Brazil and MY GOD THAT MOVIE IS SO AWESOME. I've always been a Disney fan, but it's been a while since I've actually obsessed about a Disney movie after I've watched it. *-* About the song chasing, I think this is the first time that putting together the art was more fun than actually listening to the songs. And the art didn't even wind up good. T.T

People who haven't watched Frozen yet, CAREFUL FOR SPOILERS!

(FANMIX) Sherlock - Sherlock/John - Belong

Guess what? Another fanmix. This one is for waywardmixes's holiday exchange! I picked up blue_eyed_1987's claim list, and I chose the theme: "Sherlock: the return from the fall." It ended up being half about the aftermath of the fall also... sorry. T.T

BE CAREFUL: SPOILERS AHEAD!

One more fanmix for waywardmixes, this one for round #20, Parallels. This one was more annoying to make than difficult, especially when it came to artwork, and I'm not sure how well I've complied to the theme... but, song-wise, I'm mostly satisified. I've long wanted to organize a Bleach fanmix -- especially one that included Like a Stone as a song for an IchiRuki relationship -- and I'm happy I finally got to do it! Warning for shippers: I intended this mix as one-sided Rukia --> Kaien and PlatonicLifePartners!IchiRuki. Feel free, however, to interpret it as you want!

And here's another fanmix for waywardmixes! It's an answer to challenge #18, Mix for a Fic. This one was really difficult and I'm not one-hundred percent happy with the result, but I wasn't thinking of winning the challenge as much as I was trying to put my fandom life back on track after the really difficult July I've had. I chose Charles/Erik because I've recently watched the movie again and it put me in a X-Men mood; I just picked up my favorite First Class fic and made a mix to it. Sorry for the lame art.

On to the Fanmix!Collapse )
Coming over with another fanmix! This one is for the waywardmixes challenge #14: Journeys. As soon as I read the theme, the Enterprise started flying around my head, and I knew I had to try. This mix was surprisingly easy to organize! I suppose that, when you're not focusing on character specifics, it becomes easier. Hopefully it's an okay mix!

So, a long time ago, I was going through Part One of the Hetalia Kink Meme (hetalia_kink), and I saw this prompt that went something like "England and France comparing conquests, America gaping". I thought, "hey, now, this would be funny! Shame I wouldn't be able to write it." Well, my head had another opinion, the fic was born... And I couldn't find the prompt anymore! U.u I decided to post under my regular pen name, to see if the OP!Anon finds it.

All relations between nations came from research from Wikipedia. Sorry if I got my facts wrong. Also, OP!Anon, if you're out there, sorry this wound up USUK... Hetalia things that I write tend to do that.

USUK Ending
So this is my new fanmix! This one was a real challenge to me; I had to put it together in less than a month, when it usually takes more than five months for me to finish a fanmix. It's meant for the Round #12 on waywardmixes, about Family. I hope I did well!

Now, if you see this entry in 10_quotes, please don't think I'm a plagiarist. scarlet_paire is my former journal, and I posted under that name because it was under that name that I took the challenge, but I thought it would be nice to have this posted here too.

So, this is the beginning of a series of Lee-centered fics I intend to write - intend being the key word - as an answer to the challenge. That is, it'll be ten fics that shall include somehow a quote from a list of the 100 Greatest Movies Ever provided in the site. Check the community out, guys, it's a very inspiring challenge!
